According to UK reporter Tom Felling, the US would benefit from making Cocaine legal and by controlling it rather than fighting against drugs. The subject discussed in Mr. Felling of legalizing cocaine and monitoring it also seems to be better suited for the online casino gambling industry and the laws that it is encircled by in the US.
In his book ‘Cocaine Nation: How the White Trade Took Over the World’, the expert writes that under the false assumption of fighting against drugs about $40 billion will be spent with 1.2 million citizens being placed under arrest. The case is almost the same when it comes to online gambling too. Money spent in banning online gambling and cases related to it is nothing but a great loss along with the money not being collected according to Mr. Sherman Bradley, the Senior Gaming Analyst of OCA. It is considered a loss as online gambling seems to prosper without any difficulties even though it is banned.
Mr. Felling states that trying to make a drugs free nation would be nothing but a dream and instead people should think about how they would deal with substance abuse and other activities that are considered dangerous. He says that the best way to deal with the problem is to control and regulate it.
As for online gambling, Mr .Bradley states that the problem is the same. He says that regulating online gambling would prove to be a benefit for online casino enthusiasts and also makes it easy to fight against the aspects that they want to fight against when it comes to online gambling like money laundering, criminal involvement and fraud.
Mr. Felling states that any cost-benefit analysis would be impossible for any system trying to regulate a possibly dangerous substance.
Mr. Bradley says that similar actions hinder a proper study of internet gambling. This approach leaves the country poorer, with a policy that shows no successful results and gives unimportant answers.
